Join us for a presentation by Ethan Mason and Jill Sutherland, P.E. on the Nevada Source Water Protection Program. Nevada's Integrated Source Water Protection Program (ISWPP) is a voluntary initiative which aims to safeguard drinking water supplies. ISWPP emphasizes preventing contamination at the source and managing human-caused sources of pollution. Through the ISWPP, communities receive support to create customized plans tailored to their needs, giving them the tools to protect their most important resource: drinking water.
Speaker Bio:
Ethan Mason is a native Nevadan with a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UNR. He manages the NDEPs Source Water Protection Program for the BSDW. Ethan enjoys working with all stakeholders in water quality from the individual to the federal level.
Jill Sutherland, PE, serves as the Director of Environmental Services at Resource Concepts, Inc. With over three decades of experience, she specializes in water quality planning and water pollution control permitting. Passionate about collaborative problem-solving, she works closely with clients, communities, and regulators. Since 2014, she has spearheaded technical assistance for Nevada's Integrated Source Water Protection Program.
