Presentation:
Join us for this month’s joint presentation from Lydia Teel and Danny Rotter of TMWA and Joe Coudriet of Reno on the Advanced Purified Water Facility Project.
The OneWater Nevada Advanced Purified Water Facility at American Flat, a joint effort by the City of Reno and Truckee Meadows Water Authority, offers regional long-range water supply sustainability benefits. This project will take recycled water from the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility and put it through a state-of-the-art advanced water purification process, producing clean, safe, purified water that meets or exceeds state and federal drinking water standards. The resulting Category A+ Advanced Purified Water will be recharged into the groundwater aquifer and stored for future potable use.
