Join us to hear a presentation by Lacey Tisler, P.E. on the Safe System Approach and ways that Nevada can reduce fatal and serious injury crashes on all public roads. Nevada is one of many states that has seen an increase in lives lost. Lacey will present on nationwide and Nevada practices to understand and address the problem and work to ensure that every Nevadan gets home safely.
Lacey Tisler moved to Nevada in 2012 and has had the pleasure of working all over this great state. Lacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master in Engineering Management (Saint Martin’s University). The last three years of her public sector work has been focused on traffic safety and the safe movement of people and goods. She has focused on speed and mitigating the speed related kinetic energy impacts on the human body.
Lacey is a licensed civil engineer in the State of Nevada, and she is currently pursuing her Road Safety Professional Certification. She served as the ASCE Student Section Treasurer and Concrete Canoe Captain in her undergraduate studies and is excited to be more active in the Capital Section.
